Family Portrait Sessions ~

Are you travelling to Southwest Florida on vacation and looking to capture those memories with family beach photos? Most of my clients are from out of town and I often work with extended families, small children, and large groups.

Gathering the whole family together can be a once in a lifetime opportunity and I fully understand the importance of preserving those moments.  I absolutely love working with the whole family and seeing the connection between generations gathered on our beaches. Whether you are an immediate family looking for photos or an extended family, I specialize in working with families from out of town who are looking for family beach photos at sunset.

I am a former elementary school teacher and a mom, so trust me, I get it.  I will be the artistic director of the session, guide you through everything from beginning to end, and I work efficiently. (don’t worry, I also create fabulous images!)

When scheduling your photo session, we will begin with a phone consulation.  We will discuss the dates you are in town and when the best day to book a session would be for your family. We will also discuss locations and I can make some great suggestions.  I photograph many families at the beach, however we have some beautiful parks in our area or even at your home, neighborhood or vacation property.

Most sessions are outdoors and usually last about an hour.  I schedule all my beach sessions about 45 minutes before sunset ~ we call this the “golden hour” when the lighting is just perfect for magical images.

My photography is fresh, fun, and I like to photograph both posed images as well as some candids.  I sometimes capture the best moments when we least expect it.  Everyone has a unique personality and I will always try to draw that out during the session.  I also like to keep everyone moving ~ this keeps the kids busy and everyone is happier.
